The
Scholarships will be applied through Golden Eagle Foundation's
Application Form as enclosed in below, from Feb. 01 to March 31
every year. It will be approved by Golden Eagle Foundation's
Board on May 31every year. The awards day will be on or about
June 6, every year in two payments for two semesters, will be paid
directly to the school. The minimum scholarship amount is
$2,000 per student for each year; each scholarship will be given to
only one student at present time.
Once we receive more donations from the public or net profit from
running the Internet Web Sites, then more students can receive the
scholarship in the next year. Board Members, employees and their
family are ineligible.
The Public is welcome to join our board as the officers and
volunteers. Meetings are held on first Sunday every month,
from 1/1 to12/31. Bylaw amendments should be passed by 2/3 of
the board member.
All of the donations for he scholarships will be divided into 3
equal portions to qualified and diligent disabled students, abused
children and battered wives. If there are not enough qualified
applicants for
Abused Children Scholarship and Battered Wives Scholarship in a
year, then all the scholarship money in that year will become
Disabled Students Scholarship, because it is tougher to get a job
for a disabled student without a degree to support herself or
himself and pay the college tuition than the healthy abused children
and battered wives.
To Qualify, an applicant for any these 3 kinds of scholarships
should disregard their family income, because a rich family does not
mean it has more love, care and help for their disabled children or
would abuse them less. On the other hand the poor family
usually is more supportive, helpful, and understanding than the rich
one. The scholarship should be given to the student who is in
the most suffering physical condition and most difficult position to
get a job, yet he or she could study the best under his or her
conditions.
The first priority of the disabled student scholarship will be give
to the Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Disease and
Paralytic students.
The
second priority is to the single type of disabled students, like
Blind, Polio, Deaf, Dumb, Missing part of an arm or leg student, and
hand disabled student should priority to the leg disabled
students. Because once their Central Nervous System was
damaged, then every part of their body is not normal anymore and his
or her body may suffer and will be unable to function in many
different ways. The single type of disabled condition is much
more easier to cope with, and all the job and study are dependent on
the hands much more than the legs. That's why they deserve the
scholarship more than the single type condition disabled
student.
Even Among the Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Disease
and Paralytic students, it has much different degree of sufferings,
so the scholarships should go to the one who is suffering the most
and could study the best. |
